Cinnamon Toast Crunch Protein Granola

Makes: 16 1/3 cup servings

Prep Time: 3 mins

Cook Time: 15-20 mins

INGREDIENTS

3 cups old fashioned oats

1 cup (8oz) of protein powder (for me this was 5 scoops of Sunwarrior Vanilla Protein)

1/2 cup oil (I used coconut oil, you could also use butter, or another type of oil)

1/2 cup sticky sweetener of choice (I used maple syrup) you can use honey or agave

2 tsp Cinnamon

2 tsp Granulated sugar

DIRECTIONS

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

Cover a cookie sheet in parchment paper or baking mat (I use this one)

Melt your coconut oil (or butter) in a small saucepan or in the microwave

In a small mixing bowl, add the protein powder, old fashioned oats, melted coconut oil, and your sticky sweetener of choice

Mix together until all the oats are coated

Pour oat mixture onto the cookie sheet, spread evenly and press down into the sheet so it lays evenly across

Sprinkle half the cinnamon sugar across the top

Bake in the oven for 10 minutes

After 10 minutes take the cookie sheet out and flip the granola around, press down again and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar.

Depending on how your oven is if your granola is a darker brown now only bake for another 5 minutes if your granola is still a cooked oatmeal sort of color then cook for another 10 minutes, or until golden brown.

After your granola has become a beautiful golden brown take out of the oven and let cool completely. By letting the granola cool completely you will get more chunky pieces than if you dont wait.

Enjoy!
